The Presbytery of Santa Barbara is hereby called to hold its 416th State Meeting Saturday, May 3rd, 2008 at Trinity Prebyterian Church at 2304 Antonio Avenue, Camarillo CA 93010. Please call (805) 484-0530 any further questions. Registration and coffee are from 9 - 9:30am with the meeting beginning right at 9:30am. Cost of lunch for each person will be $5 - lunch reservations are required and must be made no later than May 28.

Special Called Meeting

Minutes are now available for a Special Called Meeting of the Presbytery of Santa Barbara, Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). It was convened on Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at 3:15pm at Moorpark Presbyterian Church, Moorpark, California, by Rev. Mike Wallman, Moderator for purpose of approving the call of Rev. Daniel Allen Birchfield as Pastor of Westminster Presbyterian Church of Hueneme and examining him for membership in the presbytery. The meeting was properly called by Moderator Wallman at the request of two ministers and two elders (members of the Committee on Ministry) according to G-11.0201 of the Book of Order; and notice was sent not less than 10 days in advance of the meeting to each minister member and to the session of each member church. Notice correctly stated the purpose of the meeting, and that the meeting would include worship. Moderator Wallman announced the purpose of the special called meeting, and opened with prayer. A quorum was present.
