Executive Presbyter Search: Steps
The step the Search Committee is currently at is in color.
The slate of the EPNC was voted upon at the November meeting of the Santa Barbara Presbytery. Regular meetings began a few short weeks later. The
Search Committee prayerfully begins asking the Holy Spirit to begin stirring the heart of the next EP.
Personnel Committee updates job description. EPNC and Counsel solicit input for the CIF. Counsel and EPNC approve the CIF. Continue in prayer for the Lord's
guidance.
Post the CIF on the PC(USA) website, advertise in Presbyterian Outlook, ask members of the presbytery to network for recommendations. Pray that the
next EP is prompted to apply.
Prayerfully evaluate each Personnel Information Form received, as well as other materials submitted.
